Oshi Health is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team. As part of this team, you will be the first dedicated finance/accounting hire and an integral part of financial operations.

The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has a financial reporting or accounting background that is looking to be a part of a rapidly expanding team and is looking for an opportunity to grow with the company through financial projects and strategic initiatives. This role will report to the Finance & Operations Senior Manager.

Oshi Health is revolutionizing GI care with a digital clinic model that provides easy, convenient access to an integrated and multidisciplinary care team that takes a holistic approach to diagnosing, managing and treating digestive health conditions.  We take time to get to know each patient, develop a personalized, whole-person care plan that includes identification of symptom triggers and prescription of evidence-based interventions, including medications, dietary changes, and mental health support.  


  • Oversee all day-to-day finance activities including AP, AR, Claims Billing, Payroll, etc.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statement package to present to the the Board and other Stakeholders
  • Work with external tax team to coordinate all federal and state tax filings 
  • Build out additional financial processes and consolidation workflows for state expansions 
  • Lead annual and ad hoc financial planning and budgeting processes cross-functionally with all departments
  • Manage all financial reporting requirements as defined by investors and other key Stakeholders
  • Build and manage revenue recognition and consolidation processes
  • Identify and implement new accounting and ERP systems as the business scales
  • Lead the external audit process for annual financial statement audits
  • Design creative solutions to operational and strategic challenges by developing deep expertise about our processes, tools, and business strategy
  • Be a financial data-driven thought partner to various stakeholders including clinical operations, product and technology.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 6+ year’s experience in an accounting or financial reporting role, preferably both industry experience and public accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong, comprehensive understanding of US GAAP
  • Deep understanding of the entire financial statement preparation process, from transaction level detail to consolidation to external financial reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software tools (Preferably QuickBooks Online,, Expensify)
  • Excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional projects; strong communication skills and experience with working cross-functionally across various teams
  • Demonstrated aptitude for critical decision making with an ability to bring strategic, operational and financial perspectives to bear on those decisions
  • A creative and resourceful approach to problem solving; comfortable thinking in a “scrappy” way to deliver short term wins and insights, while working towards broader goals
  • Comfortable working with a fully remote workforce
  • Passionate about improving the healthcare system, with a strong desire to be a part of a high growth company
